Carbon-Ti presents new lightweight line of hubs top of the range called X-Hub SP for MTB and ROAD Disc with flanges for Straight Pull spokes. This new generation of hubs is proposed to set new benchmarks in every aspect.

Weight is really extraordinary: only 91 grams and 185 grams for the front to the rear.

The internal mechanism is derived from the proven model X-Hub MTB SL and presents axles with variable geometry, hi-quality sealed bearings with “tool-free” preload systems.
There are versions for quick release or thru axle and compatible with the RockShox RS-1 fork (X-Hub MTB SP X-RS-1 weighs 112 grams only!!!).

The freewheel can be optioned for Shimano 10-11s, SRAM XD or Campagnolo drivetrains.

Are expected also models with enlarged spacing like Boost 110 and 148 mm and for Lefty 2.0.

The X-Hub MTB & ROAD Disc Straight Pull hubs are 100% Made in Italy like all other Carbon-Ti products!!!

X-LockQR15 Colours

The Al7075 variable thickness axle is machined from solid and is the result of meticolous design that makes possible to halve the weight over the standard equipment saving nearly forty grams on one wheel lock, while maintaining stiffness values and safety at the top.

The closure with a 5 mm hex wrench key ensures safe and practical locking, while the refined laser etched graphic gives a touch of class showing an almost obsessive attention to details.

X-LockQR15 Front

X-Lock QR15 is available in seven anodized colors.

In the course of next season a rear thru-axle locking for E-Thru 12 x 142 frames will also be available.

X-Lock QR15, like all the Carbon-Ti products, is 100% made in Italy.

Actual weights:
X-Lock QR15 X-RockShox: 37 grams

Here is the first look at Shimano Ultegra 6800 groupset, brand new for 2014 and available very soon!

Much loved by riders looking for some of the performance benefits of the company‚ the high-end Dura-Ace groupset, but at the half of the price, Ultegra 6800 features a new 11-speed rider tuned drivetrain, improved shifting performance and increased braking power. Everything in the new group has been designed to make shifting and braking as easy as possible so you can concentrate on the ride.

Shimano Ultegra 6800 drivetrain benefitting from Dura Ace trickle-down technology, the biggest news for Ultegra 6800 is that it is now 11-speed and features what Shimano calls a ‚"rider tuned drivetrain". Rider tuned is essentially the ability to choose from a wide range of gearing options to suit your riding, whether that be for a sportive, cyclo-cross race or your local time-trial, for example.

The Ultegra 6800 cassette goes from 11-23T all the way to 11-32T and the crank shares the same four arm design as its pro-focussed Dura-Ace bigger brother, providing a better power transfer compared to a five arm design, and reducing overall weight. The crank is available in 53x39T, 52x36T, 50x34T and 46x36T.

There is a new chain too which uses Shimano is Sil-tec surface plating technology, a low friction treatment which increases performance.

Shimano Ultegra 6800 derailleurs Ultegra 6800 front and rear derailleurs have been overhauled and are now more compact, lighter, and feature a shorter stroke at the lever and deliver more even shifting effort throughout the full range of the cassette.

As well as the dual control levers providing maximum gear shift feedback, they also have a shorter lever stroke and a defined click engagement when the shift is completed. The hoods are more compact, and the carbon lever has been redesigned to improve ergonomics and control.

Shimano Ultegra 6800 brakes 10% more braking power and enhanced control are the headlines for the new Ultegra brakes, mainly down to a new symmetrical dual pivot design and the new brake shoe compound. Modulation is also improved through the use of new polymer-coated BC-R680 cables.

A new 11-speed wheel has been developed for the new group, which has a wide flange hub and an offset rim for high rigidity and power transmission.

We'll keep you updated as to when the new Shimano Ultegra 6800 is in stock.

The news was in the air from some time, the success of the top of the range single-chainring group XX1 has convinced SRAM to expand its market extending the 1x11 also to a second group a little 'cheaper.

The confirmation comes from Niner that in its 2014 product range catalogue in the technical characteristics of its RIP 9, AIR 9, JET 9 and SIR 9 mentions the SRAM X01 1 x 11 parts.
At the moment we do not know much more, but it is probable that there will be a quality/price ratio probably more balanced and within the reach of much more riders.
We also expect many OEM installation not necessarily only on XC and marathon bikes.

Looking forward to more ... stay tuned!

The transmission with single chainring, used for years by many top riders in World Cup cross country competitions, is now available for all enthusiast riders who wish to improve their mountain bike to the maximum level.

Carbon-Ti presents with X-Monoring Titanium a new range of single chainrings compatible with all 10 and 11 speeds groups on the market.
The single-chainring semplifies the gear shifting operations and permits to eliminate the left shifter, the cable
and the housings and of course the front derailleur.

X-Monoring Ti On S Works

Furthermore the X-Monoring Ti is directly engaged on the crank of the most popular cranksets with removable spider like Specialized S-Works Carbon, Cannondale Hollowgram SL e Truvativ/SRAM XX1, X.0, X.9, X.7, S2210 (just like the successful X-Ring Titanium Integral) allowing a further weight saving.

The chainring grade 5 titanium made ensures an excellent wear resistance and stiffness, far superior to any other charinring aluminum alloy made. A large number sizes are available to adapt the best ratio to each type of track: 32.33. 34, 35 and 36 teeth. For an optimum reliability is highly recommended to mount the chain-guide.
